The app, branded Settl.it (pronounced settle it), is ingeniously simple to use and can be used by either party to attempt to resolve a dispute, quickly and avoid further escalation.

What is Settl.it

Settl.it is a trusted independent online platform that allows two parties to come to an amicable, negotiated settlement using a unique, blind bid system.

The supplier or business provider simply creates an offer to negotiate that includes the minimum amount they are prepared to accept which is hidden from the other party. This offer is then emailed to the other party by settl.it inviting them to use the platform to make up to 3 blind bids to settle the transaction. If a bid meets or exceeds the minimum amount set, their offer is accepted automatically and they are requested to pay the amount via Settl.it’s trust account. A handling fee of 10% is deducted from this with the balance being paid to the bank account provided by the supplier / business provider.
